some good points. I’m not a hater of bibby either. I was actually really psyched when he joined the hawks, because I’m a fan of the team and I always thought they could be a good team with a good pg. I like bibby as a player, just not as a fantasy player. I won’t draft a player that has a good chance of shooting 40% from the floor unless he can get me 9+ assists.

Look: I’m not a big fan of Bibby either, but NO ONE is. The same reason you wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole is exactly why he may fall and could be a nice value pick (altho Round 8 would be much better value of course).

Don’t judge him by his last couple years in Sactown. He & Ron-Ron weren’t exactly the most compatible duo, which is why both guys are gone. His stats improved in Atlanta, even tho he had no time to adjust to his teammates and was visibly hobbling at times.

If he’s busting his ass this offseason (which I think he is since he has haters like you and he’s in a contract year), then I’m optimistic about him. How can you not like a PG playing with a deadly shooter (Joe Johnson), uber-athlete (Josh Smith), and a beast in the paint (Horford)?

I usually agree with everything you say, but bibby!
I wouldn’t touch that guy with a ten foot poll. His only redeeming quality is his expiring contract. He is a high risk low reward pick.
